Rs 750 crore to meet city's drinking water needs
KOCHI: Promise of more funds and a fresh deadline for replacing rusty water pipes in Kochi. May be Kochi's drinking water woes would be soon resolved.

Of the 1,088 samples of drinking water tested on random, the presence of coliform bacteria could be traced in 50 samples only. Of this, most cases were reported from West Kochi area, the officials informed.
